Position is measured on the plan: From left side and From top side go to the feature's top-left corner. Or drag the feature on the plan and the numbers fill in. Width runs left to right on the plan, depth top to bottom. For a window, From wall corner is measured from the corner where that wall starts.
Columns, radiators, built-ins, stairs and other doors block the floor. Low ceiling zones limit how tall a piece can be. Windows flag tall pieces in front of them. Cut-outs (quick rectangle only) make L, U or T shaped rooms. Right-angled shapes only.
